How to Grow Oregano

Soil

Use free-draining soil with plenty of compost. When growing oregano in pots, use a good-quality potting mix.

Position

Plant in a full-sun position for best growing conditions.

How to Plant

Oregano seeds are very small, so create shallow trenches and sprinkle the seeds along them. Water in carefully and keep the soil moist, but not wet, as young seedlings can be prone to rotting.
