Freight/postage will be added onto your cart at the checkout. Goods will then be dispatched after full payment for postage and goods is received. If your postcode is not recognised by our shopping cart please email us for assistance. Standard shipping can take anywhere from 1 to 10 business days within Australia ( and few extra days in peak/pandemic periods). Generally in Victoria it takes around 2 to 3 days from order to delivery. All orders before 2pm are Picked, packed and dispatched the same day, unless it is a special order or it is a Public Holiday and Sunday.
Post box and parcel lockers exempted for same day deliveries ( Also make sure you have recipient's number in there to make sure a smooth delivery as a lot of apartment intercoms in Melbourne doesn't work well or there are no safe spot to leave - this will void the delivery guarantee) .
We will always attempt to deliver a product within the estimated period. If the expected delivery period for your requested product/s is significantly longer than estimated, you will be contacted and will have the opportunity to cancel your order if not already dispatched. All due care will be given to packing your item for safe delivery.
Same Day, next day and dated deliveries in Melbourne
For Melbourne recipients, you have the option for guaranteed same-day (or any particular date- we schedule it and use our same day delivery service for this, so pick Local delivery option at check out, if you want a particular date guaranteed, leave a note at the message to seller section at the check out). Order before 2pm for this and if you missed the deadline please try calling or emailing as we may still be able to help!
With the Local delivery option at the checkout, we can help you with same-day deliveries for up to 60 kms from Melbourne CBD. It is automatically calculated at the checkout, depending on how far they are. For example it will cover most of the inner city suburbs for AUD 14.99 as the price chart is as follows :
- 0 to 12kms - $14.99
- 12 to 20 kms - $19.99
- 20 to 30 kms - $34.99
- 30 to 50 kms - $49.99
- 50 to 60 kms - $65.00

Purchase and Sale of Alcohol
All alcoholic products available for purchase on Pookipoiga are strictly for adults aged 18 and over, as per Victorian Legislation. These alcoholic products can only be bought by someone other than the intended recipient, and both the purchaser and the recipient must be over 18 years old. We strongly endorse the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Alcohol Quantities Limit: Alcohol quantities should be less than or equal to 50 percent of the value of the entire gift or hamper purchase, which includes the gift box/bag, gift wrap, and gift message options, and it must not exceed 1.5 litres per recipient.
Purchaser Representation: By agreeing at the checkout, the purchaser confirms that they and the recipient are both over 18 years old. The purchaser acknowledges that falsely claiming legal age to buy alcohol and procuring alcohol on behalf of someone under 18 is illegal.
Delivery: Upon delivery of your Pookipoiga Gift Box, the recipient may be asked to provide valid ID for proof of age and must sign for the goods.

Your privacy is important to us. All personal information provided by you will remain with Pookipoiga and will not under any circumstances be distributed to third parties except for fulfillment purpose like a delivery service like Auspost or Sendle. Such services are only used for long distance deliveries. When purchasing from Pookipoiga your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 256-bit SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) encryption technology. 256-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard.

RETURNS POLICY
Goods may be returned only if found to be delivered faulty, damaged or there was an error in delivery. No refund will be made for change of mind or incorrect choice. Special orders will only be refunded if found to be faulty.
Flat batteries, wear and tear or scratches are not considered a fault, and will not be eligible for exchange.
If the product is found to be faulty a full credit will be issued, providing the product’s condition is clean and unwashed and in original packaging. Contact must be made via email supplying reason for return before items are returned and details of invoice number must be included. If you haven't picked up the parcel and it got sent back to us, we give a 100% refund for the product excluding shipping. Only for Ceramic items, there is a 15% restocking charge , as they take considerable amount of care in packing.
