You Put the Wow in Mewow Tea Towel
Know someone that puts the WOW in Mewow?
Able and Game's tea towels have been printed in Melbourne on 100% linen, they have a lovely texture to them and the screenprint suits the fabric perfectly. As with any hand there little variations in the ink, but this is what makes the towel lovely and unique with no two prints are alike.
You can use your tea towel to do the dishes, or if you want to fancy it up you could frame it, or stretch it.
Able And Game is a small, Brunswick-based business creating greeting cards and gifts that celebrate everyday life in all its weird and wonderful glory. Founded in 2009 by Anna and Gareth, the brand has been bringing humour, warmth and relatability to its designs for over 15 years, with hand-drawn illustrations that capture those “oh wow, that is us” moments people love to share and keep.
Inspired by life’s simple joys - from coffee and food to public transport and cats - all designs begin as hand-drawn illustrations by Anna before being digitally coloured into bright, playful creations. Able And Game is also well known for its much-loved Kitty Calendars, produced since 2012, and works with Australian manufacturers to create functional, feel-good giftware made to be treasured.
We find after a few washes and uses it starts to soften up, but the first time you wash will shrink a little and feel a bit denser.
Size:
Width: 50cm/19.6 Inches
Height: 70cm/27.5 Inches
Care instructions:
We recommend washing your tea towel in a cold cycle on your machine with other similar coloured items and pop on the line to dry. It will go a little wrinkly after the wash so just gently pull it back into shape before hanging up to dry. Iron on the reverse side of the print with a warm iron. Don’t tumble dry or dry clean. The tea towel will shrink a little when you wash them for the first time, but it shouldn’t affect the print.
