Established in 1985 Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit organisation that is 100% Aboriginal-owned by its artists from the remote desert communities of Yuendumu and Nyirripi in Central Australia.

Alperstein Designs is a family-owned Australian business creating beautiful lifestyle gifts and homewares in collaboration with Australian artists and art centres. Founded in 1996, the brand celebrates Australian art and design through thoughtfully made products that bring artwork into everyday life. Alperstein Designs works closely with Aboriginal artists, art centres and other Australian creatives, with ongoing royalties from licensed products benefiting the artists. The company is also a member of the Indigenous Art Code and the Aboriginal Art Association of Australia, supporting ethical practices within the Australian art sector and they try and make their products as much as possible in Australia.
At Pookipoiga, we are grateful to support brands like Alperstein Designs for its thoughtful approach to Australian art, meaningful collaborations and beautiful functional gifts that help share artists' work with a wider audience, especially our Indigenous artisans, and add to the impact with our additional sustainability and giving back :)
