Lightweight, flat packed and wrapped for easy traveling (size 20cm x 25cm). Every tree is different, therefore the colour and grain of timber varies, making each of these products unique. The real work has been done by the tree, they have added the craftwork.

Buttonworks Australia 

Buttonworks Australia is a family-run business founded by the Murray family, designing and making timber puzzles, homewares, and gifts in their studio on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. What began in 2001 with handcrafted buttons grew from a desire to create authentic Australian-made gifts inspired by the country’s diverse flora and fauna something hard to find for family and friends overseas.

Combining Liz’s creative background with Mike’s technical expertise, Buttonworks evolved into a leading Australian giftware brand, with daughters Liza and Keli joining the business. Today, Liz and Keli lead the creative direction as a mother-daughter design team, blending artistic styles with modern technology. All products are made using sustainably harvested Australian timbers, celebrating craftsmanship, community, and a shared commitment to supporting local people, suppliers, and the environment.
