Sweet Anise-Flavoured Herb with Purple Flowers

How to Grow

Soil

Prepare nutrient-rich, well-drained soil by incorporating fresh manure and compost a fortnight before planting.

Position

Plant in full sun. Anise Hyssop can also tolerate some afternoon shade.

How to Plant 

Sow directly into the veggie patch when daytime temperatures regularly reach 18–20°C. If conditions are still too cold, propagate the seeds in trays and transplant once conditions improve.
