How to Grow
Soil
Prepare a free-draining, moderately fertile soil and add compost before planting. Black Beauty can tolerate a range of soil types.
Position
Choose a full-sun position with plenty of room for the plant to spread. Position it at the edge of your growing space and allow it to creep away from the garden area.
How to Plant
Sow the seeds directly into the patch once daytime temperatures are regularly above 20°C. If conditions are cooler, propagate the seeds in a mini greenhouse and transplant once conditions are suitable.
Zucchinis are more suitable for growing in an in-ground veggie patch.
