TOMS Style your Sole & Second birthday for SecondBite

 Dearest Pookipoiga friends! It's our second birthday and we have LOADS to celebrate in September! We sat down with the crew for a pow-wow and decided that instead of a few small events, we should roll it into one big EXTRAVAGANZA of shoe painting, fundraising, love, laughter, food and wine. We have some incredible local artists lined up for painting the shoes. Plastic Free July

It's Plastic Free July, which aims to raise awareness of the problems with single-use disposable plastic and challenges people to do something about it. Joining the challenge is quite simple...choose to refuse single-use plastic during July.  There will be over a million+ people worldwide from 130 countries all making a difference to the world. We at Pookipoiga are pretty passionate about our planet and one of our major ideals is to cut down on plastics, both in store and at home. One Voice Fundraiser 24th May 2017 (4-8pm)

It's that time again! The team at Pookipoiga and Nine Yaks are super excited to invite you, your friends, and your family to our annual fundraising and shopping event on May the 24th from 4-8pm. Our nominated charity is the wonderful One Voice (www.onevoice.org), who provide free showering and hygiene facilities for Melbourne's homeless, among many other wonderful services.There are over 105000 homeless Australians, 28000 are under 24 and 17850 under 17. The figures are staggering. One Voice believes that restoring dignity is the first step to restoring people's lives, and with their newest edition; a mobile shower and laundry van powered by solar panels and natural gas, they can reach more homeless in the community and share some much...

We're staying up late - and you're invited!

We're staying up past our bedtimes on Thursday! We know not everyone can get in to see us during the day, so you're invited to pop in while we stay up late - we'll be open from 5-9pm on Thursday, Dec 1. There will be complementary late night snacks and drinks. All you need to do is turn up!  AND...it's not only us that will be open late, Made It Lab (73 Bridge rd, Richmond) will also be making an appearance at our party and keeping their doors open for you. They specialise in handmade, Melbourne-made goodies, so pop in and visit them while you're here. Because it's Christmas, we're even giving an extra little surprise to everyone that spends over $100!...
